During her stay at m4gastatelier Miyuki Inoue will continu developing Humancicada project, a participatory sound sculpture project, to find a cross section of her research questions: how to liberate and amplify voice and how to involve other people in her practice.
Miyuki was born in Matsue, Japan and lives and works in The Netherlands. She graduated in 2018 from the Master of Voice department of Sandberg Institute, during which she researched analogue amplification and modification of voice, by using pipes, tubes, combinations of readymade objects, architecture, landscapes and the live voice of people, which culminated into Site-Specific Singing performance.
