Robin Waart (NL/UK) uses repetition and collecting as a framework for projects with books, movie stills, photography, polaroids, and book pages. His works raise questions about (dis)continuity, what it means to look at, or do, the same thing over and over.

In the context of m4gastcollege at West Wednesdays, Waart will talk on the topic of Shame and present work in the vitrines of Tetterode’s marble entrance hall.  

Robin Waart studied Classics in Amsterdam and received his BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, and MA from the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague.
